BusPas Named Finalist in Colorado Smart Cities Alliance’s Connected Colorado (C²) Challenge
Denver, Colorado – September 2025 – BusPas Inc., a leader in smart transit infrastructure and edge AI mobility solutions, is proud to announce its selection as a top 5 Finalist in the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance’s Connected Colorado (C²) Challenge. BusPas has been recognized under the Asset Management for Accessibility problem statement, joining a select group of innovators whose proposals demonstrate strong potential to address pressing mobility challenges in the state.
The Connected Colorado (C²) Challenge brings together governments, technology providers, and industry leaders to accelerate innovative solutions that improve community well-being. Being named a finalist positions BusPas to engage directly with the City and County of Denver and other stakeholders to refine, test, and deploy its solution in real-world conditions.
As one of only five finalists selected, BusPas will have the opportunity to collaborate with public agencies and ecosystem partners focused on advancing smarter, more connected communities. The challenge provides a pathway for validating emerging technologies, gathering operational feedback, and demonstrating measurable benefits for riders and transit operators. Participation also supports BusPas’ broader mission of helping cities improve accessibility, safety, and service reliability through intelligent infrastructure and AI-driven insights that enable more responsive and efficient public transportation systems. The recognition further strengthens BusPas’ commitment to sustainable urban mobility innovation.
Meeting Colorado’s Unique Mobility Needs
Colorado presents diverse mobility challenges, ranging from urban accessibility in Denver to the demands of mountain communities affected by snow, weather variability, and infrastructure gaps. A Path to Deployment
As the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance’s finalist process moves forward, BusPas will participate in structured interviews with the Colorado Deployment Board, exploring pathways to deployment and scaling. Winning solutions will be selected for pilot implementation across Colorado communities.
